Britney Spears Beats Charice GLEE’ Episode

As Jane Lynch said, "it's a Britney Spears' sex riot!"

"Toxic" hitmaker Britney spears has shown in episode 2 of Glee's second season that she still have it.

It was supposedly Madonna's "Glee" tribute episode also and should have been titled "The Power of Madonna,' however it was the show's tribute to Britney Spears that surfaced.

The episode has featured cameos from the pop princess herself, and gained 13.3 million viewers, leading the 8 p.m. hour and posting its best-ever rating of 5.8 among adults 18-49. A 4% up from last week (Audition episode featuring Charice) to a series high.

Britney episode was also Fox's highest rated Fall live-action comedy telecast in eight years among Adults 18-49 (since October 29, 2002, That 70's Show) and nine years among Total Viewers (since November 18, 2001, Malcolm in the Middle).

Meanwhile, Britney was also happy with the result, posting on her Twitter, "I loved it! Thank you guys SO much for making this happen!" she tweeted. The pop princess also gave props to the many song and video re-creations, including "I’m a Slave 4 U," saying, "Slave: Oh … My … God …! Those little boys are SO cute! I know how hard it is to dance with that snake! Nice job."

Kris Bernal Leads the Cast of GMA-7's 'Koreana'

Completing the powerhouse cast of this upcoming afternoon drama are Eddie Garcia, Eula Valdez, Angelu de Leon, Lotlot de Leon, Sylvia Sanchez, Marco Morales, Sab Magalona, Joyce Ching and Ram Revilla.

The captivating journey of Koreana begins October 11 after Trudis Liit on GMA Dramarama sa Hapon.

'Imortal' Starring Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz Will Start Airing on October 4

The epic battle between two blood lines will begin on primetime television starting Monday, October 4.

Imortal, the fantasy series starring Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz, is considered to be the sequel to Lobo because it features some elements from the previous fantaserye. In Lobo, Angel brought life to the character of Lyka, a woman who could transform into a powerful werewolf.

Angel's performance in Lobo earned her a nomination in the 37th International Emmy Awards. The Kapamilya star was one of four nominees for the Best Performance by an Actress category. However, she lost to Julie Walters, who starred in a show produced by BBC.

Lobo was co-directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and E. M. Reyes. This time, Imortal is helmed by Chito Roño, the same director behind the box-office horror films Sukob and Feng Shui. Serving as co-directors are Jerry Sineneng and Trina Dayrit.

Imortal will depict the centuries-old battle between vampires and werewolves. Mythology states that vampires came to the land seeking human blood. In response to the threat posed by vampires, the clan of werewolves rose to the challenge of protecting mortals from the blood suckers. The vampires were almost wiped out but the remaining members of the clan vowed to exact revenge on the werewolves.

In Imortal, Angel will once again assume the character of a she-wolf as she brings life to the character of Lia, a descendant of Lyka. John Lloyd will display extraordinary abilities as Mateo, a vampire who will be attracted to Lia.

Can their forbidden love overcome their destiny?

Justin Bieber Caught "Making Out" with Fil-Am Singer Jasmine Villegas

Move over Chelsea Handler, Rihanna, Kathy Griffin, Kim Kardashian, and the whole of America 'coz your "to-die-for" 16-year-old "King of All Hair" hit Canadian singer Justin Bieber was seen in a serious lip-locking-make-out session with another 16-year-old, Filipino-American singer Jasmine Villegas, the chick who stars in his "Baby" music video and the opening act on his My World 2.0 concert tour in North America.

The photo below was taken, while on traffic, by a Canadian tourist on Thursday, September 9 in Venice, California and was immediately published in some U.S. entertainment websites and Daily Mail website in United Kingdom.

The two had been rumored to be dating but they insisted they were just "really cool friends."

Jasmine is well-known to many Filipino as the young Pinay singer who sang the U.S. National Anthem in Manny Pacquiao's boxing fights with Ricky Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez, and David Diaz.

Jasmine, who is now considered to be the luckiest teenage girl on the planet, had a brief showbiz career in the Philippines when she went home last 2008 and became a mainstay of the defunct GMA-7 Sunday noontime show SOP.

Charice Debuts as Sunshine Corazon on GLEE Season 2 Audition Episode

Justify FullShe is finally arrived!

Philippines' very own Charice, finally made her debut appearance as Sunshine Corazon, a Filipino exchange student who will be the "frenemy" (friend-enemy) of the show's lead character Rachel Berry, in the pilot episode of the second season of hit comedy-musical series GLEE, which was aired today, September 22.

Charice is one of the three new cast members introduced on the Audition episode - the others were Chord Overstreet (as Sam Evan) and Dot-Marie Jones (as football coach Shannon Beastie).

Charice first appeared on the show while the members of the McKinley High School's glee club, New Directions, performed their version of Jay-Z and Alicia Key's "Empire State of Mind" to attract new recruits.

Then, Rachel approached Sunshine who was wearing a pair of nerdy eyeglasses, a red blouse under a vest and denim short while carrying a Hello Kitty backpack in the ladies room to encourage her to join the glee club. However, when she heard Sunshine sing Lady Gaga and Beyonce's "Telephone," Rachel immediately recognized her as competition.

Later on, Rachel was convinced by fellow glee club members Mercedes Jones (Amber Riley) and Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) that they need a new member who can help them beat rival group Vocal Adrenalin. But Rachel gave a fake address to the young foreign exchange student leading her to a crack house where, Sunshine said, "they stole my sheet music and used it as a toilet paper."

When Coach William Schuester (Matthew Morrison) found out about it, he made Rachel realize that they need Sunshine in the group. So, Rachel finally invited Sunshine to a real audition.

At the auditorium, Charice made every New Directions members' jaw drop while singing Beyonce's "Listen" from the Broadway play and movie Dreamgirls.

Unfortunately, the New Directions was too late. Charice was recruited by rival group Vocal Adrenalin.

GLEE Season 2 Audition Episode Recap

Fresh off a loss at Regionals, it's no surprise that the Glee kids are still getting slushied on the regular. When news hits of a budget cut, Will encourages the kids to promote the club and encourage new members to audition. Easier said Mr. Schu because those sign up sheets are pretty empty. To up their popularity, the group performs a tribute to the best state ever for the school. They get up and perform Empire State of Mind by Jay Z and Alicia Keys and as a New Yorker, I was jamming guilt free. This had the potential to be really awful but I actually thought it was really great. Artie’s rapping is divine and Mr. Schu needs to take note. Kurt was looking suspiciously straight for awhile with those dance moves.

Out of the entire school, two people tapped their toes and actually paid attention. The first is the new transfer student; Sunshine Corazon. Yes. That’s actually her name. Played by Charice, she’s a new student with a voice to rival Rachel’s. They have a duel in the bathroom singing Telephone by Lady Gaga and Rachel is not happy to learn how well Sunshine can perform. Suddenly regretting asking her to join Glee club, Rachel sends her to a crack house instead.

Speaking of Asians, Other Asian had two lines this week! We learn that while Rachel and Finn were heating up over the summer, Artie and Tina were fizzling out. As much as I love Artie, he just wasn’t a good boyfriend to Tina who willingly jumped at the chance to enjoy Mike Chang’s abs. FYI Tina, Artie pushes that wheelchair a lot and probably looks lovely under all the sweater vests. Artie wants to win Tina back by joining the football team. Not really sure how that would work but the new coach doesn’t want to be bothered. Beiste as she likes to be called cuts Finn from the team and makes life hell for Sue, who teams up with Will to get her fired.

Finn walks in on another new kid at school singing in the locker room showers. Major episode one flashbacks of Finn. I’m underwhelmed of him at this point. Finn brings Sam to the rest of the guys in the club and they jam to Billionaire by Bruno Mars. More Artie rapping! This is my second favorite performance of the night. I just love the energy. The Cheerios have been majorly revamped as Quinn is appointed head cheerleader once again, Finn tries out since he’s no longer on the football team, and Santana is ousted for getting a boob job and disgusting Sue with her new funbags. Santana and Quinn have a catfight in the hall and I kind of laughed when Santana called Quinn a slut. Pot? Kettle?

The other asians of the club rescue Sunshine from the crackhouse and allow her to audition properly. She does a stellar performance of Listen from Dreamgirls and even I can’t deny her voice. In the end, it doesn’t matter and Glee club remains as it is. Sam chooses not to show up to audition and instead takes the role of quarterback away from Finn and Sunshine defects. Not out of the country but to Vocal Adrenaline, who have a new coach played by Cheyenne Jackson. I totally forgot he was slated to guest star.

I thought this was a great premiere. I loved how the beginning of the episode was a nod to all the haters. I admit Charice has an amazing voice but as an actress I can’t say much. I actually found the whole Telephone scene in the bathroom kind of embarrassing. Also, I need Artina back in my life. And if it hasn’t been written already, I hereby make a public plea to Ryan Murphy to have Artie try and win Tina back by singing Billy Joel’s For The Longest Time. Make it happen!
