Martin Nievera and Gary Valenciano Team-up for "Twist and Shout"

"I've never been a game show host. This is my first time, but I have Martin. I know we’re both going to learn from each other, we’re ready for the challenges.

But the core element in Twist and Shout is not to try to be a game show and us hosts not to be like Edu Manzano, Cesar Montano, or Kris Aquino. We will just be Martin and Gary," dagdag ni Martin.

Newscasts Meet New Technology in "TV Patrol" and "Bandila"

True Blood Season 3 Episode 3 Recap: It Hurts Me Too

The episode starts off with Tara enjoying everything there is to enjoy about being with a vampire. They head to a cheap motel and Tara tries to take her mind off Eggs. But really Tara come on now. Do you really think this Franklin guy can be trusted? He’s so creepy looking. Sookie shows what a great friend she is and uses some of the money Eric gave her to give Eggs a proper funeral. Tara accepts her grand gesture of apology and moves back in with her. Just when you think things with Tara are going to calm down they don’t. Franklin shows up yet again with his creepy tiny fangs and glamors Tara, manipulating her to let him inside. Tara should just stop answering the door from now on.

Another person trying to maintain a sense of normalcy is Jason. He’s discovered a new purpose in life! He wants to be a cop. Apparently he didn’t realize it required ya know, effort and time because he can barely sit still long enough to study. It doesn’t matter however because he’s still haunted by what he’s hiding. It continues to make him crazy and distracts him from his latest passion. By the end of the episode it looks like he changes his mind about being a cop and burns the application. It’s a shame he did because it looks like there will be a vacancy in the force when Bud quits. I appreciate the great Jason butt shot though.

Arlene goes to the doctor to find out for sure that she’s pregnant. He confirms what she already knows but fills her in on a little surprise. The baby is just over 9 weeks. Judging by the shocked look on her face, she hasn’t been dating Terry that long. Yikes, does that mean her baby daddy is Rene? That’s quite a secret to hold on to. “My baby daddy is a dead serial killer.” Poor Terry is thrilled when Arlene tells him she’s pregnant and she can’t bring herself to tell him the truth. Has it really only been 9 weeks?

Sookie heads to Jackson to find out information about Bill because as we all know, the girl cannot sit still to save her life. She’s accompanied by newcomer Alcide, a werewolf sent to look after her by Eric. I welcome this man’s presence on the show. Just sayin’. We flashback to 1868 and get a glimpse of Bill’s previous life with his wife and children. He returns home from the war, fresh as a vampire, to discover his daughter has been sent away and his son has died from disease. His night gets worse when his wife freaks out at her new undead husband and Lorena shows up to make it worse. I really really hate Lorena.

Bill decides to accept the King’s offer to work in Mississippi with him. It looks like he has sneaky motives and Lorena calls him out on it. It’s a shame Bill didn’t kill her when he set her on fire last week. But if he had killed her, this episode wouldn’t have been “twisted.” Lorena provokes Bill enough to get him to have animal-esque hate sex with her. He’s so disgusted with himself during the act that he twists Lorena’s head all the way around so he doesn’t have to look at her. Ugh. Nightmares! That was some exorcist shit right there. Lorena sickeningly seems to enjoy it and Bill hates himself for what he’s done.

Vice Ganda Will Be Featured in "Reader's Digest" September 2010 Issue

Nasa cloud 9 pa rin si Vice Ganda. At baket?

Reader's Digest 'yan, 'teh."

3 Reasons Behind Kris Aquino - James Yap Separation

"Bagong Pilipinas" is President Noynoy's Inaugural Song

10 singers ang napili to sing the Ogie Alcasid and Noel Cabangon composition "Bagong Pilipinas" or "New Philippines" para sa inauguration ni President-elect Noynoy Aquino III on June 30 at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.

Ogie and Noel were commissioned by the inaugural committee para gumawa ng kanta na magiging official inaugural song when P-Noy sworn in as Philippines 15th President.

Jed Madela, one of the 10 singers chosen to sing "Bagong Pilipinas" said he was so moved by the song that he still got goosebumps even after recording the music.

"Ganda, sobrang ganda. Actually, hanggang ngayon, nag-goosebumps pa din ako, listening to all singers singing as one," Madela said.

Bukod kay Jed, napili rin para kumanta ng "Bagong Pilipinas" sina Ogie Alcasid, Jim Paredes, Mae Paner (Juana Change), Nina, Christian Bautista, Noel Cabangon, Gary Valenciano at Regine Velasquez.

"For the first time, the song will be sang by all singers. And then we’re going to be backed up by the Symphony Orchestra, 70s Band, the Madrigal Singers…and Kunderana will be there," Ogie said.

He added, "Lahat nga kami iba’t iba ang channel, ng network. In fact, Gary openly was supporting another president, but he came here. It’s not about that anymore. It’s about coming together and working as one."

"Bagong Pilipinas" will be included sa isang special music album na ipo-produce ni Kris Aquino, P-Noy's youngest sister.

Other cast members include a grand ensemble of the industry’s well-respected artists led by Tirso Cruz III, Sandy Andolong, Janice de Belen together with Bernard Palanca, Marco Alcaraz, Gabby Eigenmann, Ces Quesada, Jana Dominguez, Mosang, Bela Padilla and Ms. Kuh Ledesma in a very special role.

Endless Love also introduces three young stars who went through a series of auditions before bagging significant roles in the series. The three showbiz neophytes are Joyce Ching as the young Shirley, Kristoffer Martin as the young Johnny and Kathryn Bernardo as the young Jenny.

Mac Alejandre directs the series, which tells a compelling love story filled with twists and hapless situations that will make the viewers’ tears fall every night.

Lead characters Johnny (Dingdong) and Jenny (Marian) are siblings from a well-off family. They are sheltered and are genuinely loved by their parents Robert (Tirso Cruz III) and Katherine (Sandy Andolong). Johnny loves his sister and is very protective of Jenny, who loves her brother as much.

The perfect and happy lives of Johnny and Jenny turn topsy-turvy when an accident leads their family to discover an incident from the past. The family learns there was a case of baby switching in the hospital the day Jenny was born. They discover that Robert and Katherine’s real daughter is Shirley, the poor, mean and resentful classmate of Jenny.

The lives of Jenny and Shirley are dramatically reversed in an instant. Jenny wants to stay but Shirley keeps pushing her to leave the family she loves so much. Hurting, the weak-willed Jenny decides to run away. Even when Johnny and his family invite Jenny to live with them abroad, Jenny opts to stay with her hostile biological mother Suzy (Janice de Belen) and good-for-nothing brother Jojo (Gabby Eigenmann).

Jenny grows up to be a simple, beautiful and kind-hearted young lady. She works in a hotel resort as a housekeeping staff where she meets Andrew (Dennis Trillo), the conceited and naughty son of the hotel owner gets smitten by Jenny’s charm and beauty.

Andrew does everything to get Jenny’s attention. He soon realizes that Jenny is slowly changing him. The former inconsiderate wealthy guy proudly shares to his bestfriend that he has found the woman he truly loves.

Conflict arises when Johnny returns from abroad to search for his beloved sister Jenny. Soon, the two long lost siblings reunite. Will Johnny and Jenny finally admit that the love they feel for each other is more than just familial love?

But what will these ill-fated lovers do when reality unfurls – that Johnny is the bestfriend of Andrew, who is head over heels in love with Jenny. And although he will fight for the love of his life, Johnny is engaged to his girlfriend Yumi (Bela Padilla). Andrew, on the other hand, is being pursued by Jenny's archrival, Shirley.

What will happen to the intertwined loves and lives of Johnny, Jenny and Andrew? Who will be the best man to win the heart of Jenny? And what is this secret that Jenny has been keeping from the people who love her?

Kapuso gems Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera and Dennis Trillo star in a chronicle of unwavering love that may either lead to a long-lasting happiness or an eternal heartbreak in Endless Love beginning tonight on GMA Telebabad.

Kris Aquino Says Goodbye to The Buzz - Part 2:

"On my part, my marriage to James is over!" - Kris Aquino

Read here the transcript of Kris Aquino's interview on "The Buzz," early this evening, June 27, where she disclosed that she has given up on her marriage to basketball star James Yap.

BOY ABUNDA: Krissy, maraming tanong, maraming opinyon, speculations. This is your chance. We will listen. What do you have to say?

KRIS AQUINO: First, I'm sorry about Tuesday [engagement in Cebu]. For so long, ilang buwan naman na nagampanan ko ang lahat ng tungkulin ko, lahat ng responsibilidad sa trabaho at sa kampanya kahit na mayroon kaming pinagdadaanan sa tahanan namin. It was a sign of weakness on my part not to show up, and I'm sorry about that. I'm sorry that you had to be the one to answer because you felt uncomfortable making up an excuse.

About what we've been through, I think naman Boy hindi lahat sikreto sa inyong lahat, kung ano ang mga napagdaanan namin in our married life. I think also the whole Philippines is fully aware na when my mom was alive and ngayon, my siblings have tried to bridge whatever gaps -- and I mean gaps, marami na kasi.
I have not sat down [with my siblings]...lahat through text -- kay ate, kay Pinky. Through phone, nakausap ko si Viel. Nagtext din kami ni Noy. Siyempre sila lahat, gusto nila sana maayos pa.

I just want to say na whatever decision I have come to, it's not a spur of the moment decision. Matagal naming sinubukan. James and I both tried to really make this work.

On my part, what I'm comfortable saying is, with finality I can say, ako sumuko na.
But there's no way of doing that.

Last night, mga 4 in the morning, hindi ako makatulog pa. Katabi ko si Baby James, and I think he had a bad dream kasi he started to cry in his sleep. And that's when it came to me, and I'm sure lahat ng mga nanay maiintindihan ako. Kung anuman ang dahilan why this marriage, on my part I'm saying, is over, the only person I will owe and explanation to, and the only person who can demand from me na bakit kayo naghiwalay, is my son.

And kagabi Boy, narealize ko, the worst thing I can do for Baby James is, when he's 7 or 8 years old and mahanap niya sa YouTube yung explanation kung bakit naghiwalay ang nanay at tatay niya. He deserves much more than that. He deserves to hear it only from me and only from James. Because in any separation, there are 2 sides to the story. And we owe it to him, James will owe it to him, that I will owe it to him to explain to him.

But I'm sure you will all understand me. My decision to keep quiet is not because on June 30 magiging presidente si Noy. My decision to keep quiet is because I asked myself 'Kapag inexplain ko kay Baby James, number one mauunawaan ba niya ako? Number 2, rerespetuhin pa ba niya ako? At number 3, mamahalin pa ba niya ako?' At nasagot ko naman kagabi na 'yes.' I know my son will understand me, will respect me and still love me. And I feel that he will love me more, respect me more, and value me more if I keep quiet today.

I know that will leave so many unanswered questions, but those questions, only Baby James deserves to hear the answers to. Siguro Boy, this is part of growing up. It's part of realizing that yes, I am public and I owe all of you an explanation, but apart from God, the only one I'm answerable to is kung di man mga kapatid ko eh ang anak ko.

Because I'm doing this for my son, because he's only 3 years old and he really doesn't deserve na kung ano yung trials na pinagdaanan ng parents niya, kailangang ungkat-ungkatin at ulit-ulitin, wag na.

Kung this will mean na maraming hindi makakaintindi sa akin or sasabihin, ijujudge ako, then let it be. I don't mind. The world can judge me. I just want my son to be able to respect me and respect his father. Because at the end of the day, ang utang namin sa kanya. To a certain extent, of course, it will affect Josh but it's really Baby James who will really be affected.

And maybe, yung sinasabi ng mom ko sa akin parati na 'Krissy, love is bringing out the best in each other.' Maybe Baby James is really bringing out the best in me. And that's it, Boy. I really hope they understand that this is for my son.

BOY: Naiintindihan ko. Maraming salamat, Krissy.

"Biggest Loser: Pinoy Edition" Soon on ABS-CBN

Justify Full
During the PBB Teen Clash 2010 "Unite at the Big Night" presentation at the Ynares Sports Complex, the Kapamilya network announces its newest reality show "The Biggest Loser Philippines" debuting soon on Philippine television.

Watch the teaser here:

James Reid is PBB Teen Clash 2010 Teen Big Winner

James Reid, the 17-year-old Dashing Dude of Australia, was declared the Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Clash 2010 "Unite at the Big Night" held at the Ynares Sports Complex on Saturday night, June 28.

James got 18.70 percentage of total votes equivalent to 179,294 text votes. He received P1M, a Sony Vaio laptop, a 46" Sony LCD, a Crystal Clear Water franchise, an Asian tour for two to Hongkong, Thailand and Singapore and a P3M-worth condominium unit.

James was born and raised in Australia, and would often visit Manila with his dad for vacation until they finally decided to settle here a few years back.

James almost didn't make it to the top when one of his lungs collapsed. He was hospitalized but was able to go back to Big Brother's house before the 24-hour deadline. But having an admirable personality for not expecting to be part of the Big 6 more so being the Big Winner believing that the other housemates were more deserving, might be the key that makes Filipino fans vote for him.

Ryan Bang is PBB Teen Clash 2010 2nd Teen Big Placer

Ryan Bang or Bang Hyung Sung, the Simpatikong Leader of Korea, is the 2nd teen big winner of PBB Teen Clash 2010.

Ryan got 18.70 percentage of total votes equivalent to 169,797 text votes. He won P500,000 and a Sony Vaio laptop.

Ryan is this season’s resident comedian with his antics and accent. Though, there's two things which can make Ryan's tears roll- family and friends. On one event that the housemates spoke of their mothers, Ryan wasn’t able to hold his tears as he told his friends how much his mom sacrificed for him.

Ryan currently studies at an international school in the country.

Fretzie Bercede is PBB Teen Clash 2010 3rd Teen Big Placer

Fretzie Bercede, the Charming Angel of Cebu, is the 3rd teen big winner of PBB Teen Clash 2010.

Fretzie got 15.99 percentage of total votes equivalent to 145,176 text votes. She won P300,000 and a Sony Vaio laptop.

Fretzie is both charming and an angel, inside and outside the Pinoy Big Brother House. At that time that there was a P10,000 check that could be given to any recipient known by the housemates, Fretzie opted to give this amount to neighbors whom she felt needed the money more than her family did. Unfortunately, the Villa housemates did not win that specific task.
