Willie Revillame Ousted Manny Pacquiao as BIR Top Celebrity Taxpayer of 2009


The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) releases the list of Top 500 Individual Taxpayers of 2009.

Topping the list of celebrity taxpayers is Willie Revillame who is reportedly receiving a monthly payslip amounting to P50 million when he was still hosting the ABS-CBN defunct noontime game show 'Wowowee'.

Meanwhile, Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao, was listed the top taxpayer in 2008 with an annual tax due amounting to P125 million. For 2009, however, Pacman dropped to No. 113 with annual tax amounting to only P7 million.
