Iya Villania flew to Brunei to sing for the birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah, daughter of Brunei Sultany Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, at the Istana Sports Club.

I had so much fun and they are genuinely nice people. I will never ever forget this weekend I had with the royal family for the rest of my life." says Iya.

Iya’s rendition of Love Song, Bad Romance, Love Story, Money Honey, Smile and Last Dance was warmly received. The evening’s program also had group numbers by the children of the royal families. Other invited celebrities were two popular film actors from Indonesia — Joshua and Dimas, who sang famous Bahasa songs.

Video to Watch: "Pilipinas Win Na Win" Pilot Episode - July 31, 2010

For the first time on Philippine TV, nagsama sa isang noontime show ang dalawa sa biggest and brightest stars ng Philippine showbiz na sina Queen of All Media Kris Aquino at ang "Pambansang Utol" Robin Padilla.

It's nice to be back!"

STAR-STUDDED PILOT EPISODE

Aside sa exciting line-up of new games, marami ring big star ng Kapamilya network and dumalaw, nag-perform, at nagbigay ng kanilang wishes para sa show.

At di pa nga natatapos ang show, napilit na nyang ipakanta ang "It Must Have Been Love" kay KC.

STUDIO SET, GAMES, STAFF

"The set will stay. Yung staff naman saka yung mga dancers, they will stay. Pati si 'Congratulations' [April Gustilo], she'll stay. It's the game segments that will see really total change. Naka-tailor fit talaga yung segments for Kris and Robin at kino-complement pa rin naman nina Mariel, Valerie at Pokwang."

"We know, of course, Kris as being the Media Queen, and bihasa na siya sa pagho-host ng mga ganyang palaro. Robin has the charisma. It would actually be an interesting combination. Iisa kasi yung adhikain nila, yung mapasaya yung tao. So both have the heart. Both have the passion. It's very, very interesting to see the mix."

Ngayon, mas pampamilya at mas pangmaramihan. It's interactive with the barangay at may palaro para sa pamilya," ani Jay.

Mapapanood ang Pilipinas Win na Win, mula Lunes hanggang Sabado, 12nn, sa ABS-CBN.

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres announces a sudden exit as judge of "American Idol" after just one season on the judge's panel.

Ellen said in a statement that her job as judge "didn't feel like the right fit for me" and added that she told Fox and the producers of the show that she would like to leave.

"It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for," she said.

Fox, which broadcasts the top-rated TV singing contest, said it supported her decision.

"We love Ellen and understand and support her decision to bow out of Idol," said Peter Rice, chairman of entertainment, Fox Networks Group. "We were fortunate to receive the humor, energy and love for talent that she brought to the show."

Jennifer Lopez is rumored to replace Ellen De Generes as new American Idol judge.

...but only for a while!

Vice Ganda, the unevictable judge of ABS-CBN's hit morning talent show "Showtime" is taking an "indefinite leave" to rest, recharge and learn again.

"Oo magpapahinga muna ako. Hindi ko alam kung sino ang papalit. Nagpaalam na ako," Vice said.

The actor-comedian also put an end to speculations that he will be moving to a rival network.

"Hindi, hindi ako lilipat ng ibang istasyon. Dito lang ako hanggat gusto nila ako dito sa ABS-CBN," he said.

Vice Ganda also extended his appreciation to all his supporters and viewers of Showtime.

"Sa mga sumusuporta sa akin, maraming salamat. Malungkot man eh mami-miss muna natin ang isa't isa. Mas magandang ma-miss niyo ako kaysa magsagawa kayo sa akin," he said.

A statement from ABS-CBN Corporate Communications said Vice Ganda will return to the show after taking a short break.

"Just like any other artist, Vice Ganda is taking a short leave of absence from Showtime. He will be back in the program after his leave," said Bong Osorio, head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications.

Bea Binene - Evelina

Romano (Cesar Montano) is a simple farmer who accidentally finds himself amidst the power struggle of the white and black sorcerers. He has a loving wife named Elsa (Ara Mina), who will help Romano get through the situations they find themselves in.

Little does the couple know that the search of the sorcerers for the elusive Ilumina will intertwine the lives and loves of their own children – formerly conjoined twins Romana (Rhian Ramos) and Krisanta (Jackie Rice).

Despite their opposite personalities, the twin sisters still profess similarities as they like most of the same things. The twins’ relationship starts to falter, however, when Romana discovers she has a telekinesis power. This leaves the powerless Krisanta extremely envious, and that the only magical thing she has is a streak of veins on her cheek that becomes prominent when she gets angry or emotional.

Regardless of their differences, Romana loves her twin sister very much still. The real conflict between the two only arises when they meet Iñigo (Aljur Abrenica), a wealthy, free-spirited young man who has been longing for the attention of his father. He will be the love interest of both Romana and Krisanta.

Unknown to the twins, the mysterious Elvira (Jean Garcia) has been keeping tabs on them. She is the second wife of wealthy philanthropist Frederico (Christopher de Leon) who has been playing a part in the lives of both Romana and Krisanta – as financer of the operation that separated the conjoined twins, and as the father of Iñigo, the young man both sisters love. Elvira seeks the powerful Ilumina, and she believes that Romana and Krisanta would lead her to where the Book of Magic is hidden.

In her effort to get the Ilumina, will Elvira, whose dark past remains a secret, be able to entice Krisanta to join her? Will Romano be able to save his daughters from the hands of Elvira? Who will conquer the heart of Iñigo: will it be Krisanta or Romana? Are the formerly conjoined twins destined to be separated forever? And who will finally possess the powerful Ilumina?

Catch the enchanting new Kapuso primetime series, Ilumina, starting this Monday, August 2, on GMA Telebabad.

"Whatever decision I have to come to, it’s not a spur of the moment decision. Zanjoe Marudo Strives for Versatility, Longevity

Actor Zanjoe Marudo may be "striking while the iron is hot" when it comes to his career, but he definitely does not want to be called "flash in the pan," he revealed so in an interview during his birthday last July 23.

The former model, whose entry to fame was the original "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition," has indeed gone a long way. However, the hunk actor insists he is still far from his goal as an actor.

"Gusto ko magtagal sa industriyang ito. Marami akong gustong gawin eh. Gusto ko mag-drama, gusto ko mag-comedy, gusto ko mag-action. 'Yung hindi nakatali sa isang character o genre," said the 28-year-old star.

So far, he has been successful in showcasing his versatility as a mainstay of comedy show "Banana Split," a lead star in the hit horror flick "Cinco," and the leading man of "Jewel of Romance" Cristine Reyes in the epic TV adaption of Martha Cecilia’s phenomenal "Kristine" pocketbook series debuting on August 16.

Zanjoe revealed that he is challenged by his role Jaime in the teleserye, even if he shares some traits with him.

"Hindi niya agad binibigay lahat hanggang hindi sigurado. Pareho rin siguro kaming minsan lang gumawa ng something romantic, pero malakas yung impact kasi hindi sanay yung tao na ganon kami," he said.

He said, like Jaime, he has to work on being more expressive of his feelings, especially his appreciation of good things people do to or for him.

One thing that he can very well exude is his dedication to both his family and career.

Marami pa akong pangarap," he said.

And in his much-awaited comeback to Primetime Bida via "Martha Cecilia's Kristine" on August 16, people can only expect a better and bolder actor in Zanjoe.

At iyan ang gagawin ko sa 'Kristine,'" he said with conviction.

Rizal Day Bombing Survivor Remembers Grim Experience

"Kris is Pregnant Issue, Not True!" - Boy Abunda

Talent manager and television host Boy Abunda belies on SNN the report that his close friend and talent Kris Aquino is expecting her third child.

Boy said Kris was "very, very surprised" when told about the report.

She was very, very surprised," he said.

Boy suspects that the report surfaced after Kris had a check-up with her OB-Gynecologist, Dr. Greg Pastorfide, on June 23.

Boy explained that the check-up had something to do with the actress-television host’' new endorsement, which is a cervical vaccine.

Kris, according to Boy, had her period last July 18.

Video To Watch: Charice Visited Star King of Korea For The 3rd Time

Charice appeared on Star King aired on Korean television last July 24 with over 5,000 viewers watching the livestream. It marked the third appearance for Charice on the popular Korean television show and was highly anticipated as this is where her road to stardom began all the way back in 2007.

There were touching moments as Charice presented the host Kang Ho Dong with an autographed copy of her self-titled CD 'Charice' and a personal handwritten sign in Korean, translated "Thank you so much Starking - Charice Pempengco."

Charice had a duet with So Hyang performing 'When You Believe' (originally by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey), sang Bodyguard Medley, and had a battle of sorts with Luna performing 'One Moment In Time,' after which she gave touching words of advice to "believe in yourself" that brought tears to Luna's eyes.
