The successor of “XB Gensan” and “Laoag City Gymnastics Dance Group” will finally be known this Saturday, May 14, as the finalists of “Showtime All-Star Barangayan Edition” bring all they've got for one last showdown at the Ynares Center in Antipolo, Rizal.
Eleven groups from different barangays from all over the nation are expected to turn in explosive performances to become the first ever All-Star Brangayan grand champion of the country’s favorite talent-variety show. The winning group will also win P2 million - P1 million for them and P1 million for the barangay they represent.
In the finals are “Anonymous Edition” from Rizal, “Cool Guyz” from Laguna, “Asian Pride” from Mandaluyong, “Vision 20” from Laguna, “Tribos Humanikas” from Caloocan, “Artist Youth of the Philippines” from Bulacan, “True Colors” from General Santos, “Yuri Crowd” from Bacolod, “BTLA Kids” from Caloocan, the Negros Dance Collective, and the winner of the Wild Card round that began last Monday, May 9.
Fans of the show can expect to be surprised again as “Showtime” promises another grand finals to remember. Aside from production numbers by hosts Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, Karylle, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta, Kim Atienza, and resident judge Vice Ganda, previous guest judges will also return to help Vice in judging the groups.
Which group will get a perfect 10 from guest judges like Georgina Wilson, Zsazsa Padilla, Jimmy Bondoc, Kiray, and Christian Bautista? Find out in another nail-biting and breathtaking Grand Finals of “Showtime.”
While the show has yet to proclaim its newest winner, people are already anticipating the new gimmicks and mechanics in the next season of “Showtime,” which will begin on Monday, May 16.
As a teaser, more Filipinos will be able to join and be seen on television because there will be no minimum number of members required per group or contestant. This means a soloist, duo, or quartet can take part in the show and bring both amusement and inspiration to viewers.
Tune in for the other surprises that will surely make Showtime’s season four even more exciting and eventful than the first three seasons. But for now, prepare to cheer for your group and don’t miss all the dazzling and amusing performances at the “Showtime All-Star Barangayan Grand Finals” this Saturday, May 14, live from the Ynares Center on ABS-CBN.
